14th Annual International Survivors of Suicide Day

Join the Survivor Community Around the World for a Day of Healing and Support

Every Year survivors of suicide loss gather together in locations around the world to feel a sense of community, to promote healing, and to connect with others like them.

One of AFSP’s most well known programs, the International Survivors of Suicide Day Conference helps bring together survivors in every community and from around the world for a day of healing. These conference sites and the online resources create safe spaces for Survivors to gather, receive information about coping tips and the support that is available, and to hear the inspiring stories and life experiences of fellow Survivors.

A Program of Diverse Experiences

Survivors of Suicide Day is intended to be a day for Survivors, for healing and for learning from one another. Join AFSP at one of the conference sites in your community or join us online for a webcast and a live online chat session following the program.

With Survivor speakers sharing a broad range of experiences with suicide and their subsequent healing journeys, you will have access to a diverse set of experiences, backgrounds, and thoughts as they share their personal and professional insights. We will have Survivors from around the country, AFSP staff, and mental health professionals all presenting as well as local speakers at many of the sites around the world.

Join the Overnight Community Once More

The International Survivors of Suicide Day Conference is one of the many programs that the Overnight Community’s efforts work toward. Thanks to your efforts during the Overnight Walk season, and your continued dedication to helping AFSP continue and expand programs such as this one, Survivors around the country and the world will be able to take advantage of this day of healing.
