We understand that everyone is patiently awaiting the news about the 2013 Overnight Walk. Our team is making every effort to get word to you so that travel plans can be made, teams can be formed, and you can once again start your participation in this amazing event.
In recent years, we have had the good fortune of being able to announce the location of the following year’s Overnight Walk at the event itself or very soon after. We realize that this makes planning for your event travel, and your overall event experience, simpler and more enjoyable. However, some years our work with the host city becomes drawn out for reasons outside of our control.
As many of you are aware, planning an event of this scope in any large city is a complicated endeavor. One of the special elements that make the Overnight Walk so powerful is the change of location from year to year. Each new location brings with it new challenges, permitting requirements, and special considerations that the city would like us to address before we can make any formal announcement.
We can guarantee that there will be a 2013 Overnight Walk. We also want to assure all of our Walkers and supporters that we are making every effort to complete the logistical steps that will allow us to firmly announce the location of the 2013 Overnight Walk.
We should have confirmation very shortly for the 2013 Overnight Walk location, and rest assured that the moment we do, we will be excited to announce it and will be sure to help all of our participants get set up quickly and on track for success.
We appreciate the enthusiasm that has been building from all of our Walkers, Crew and Volunteers. It means a great deal to us to know that the Overnight Walk has become such an important part of your lives. We are just as eager as our community to announce the location and dates so that we can all take this journey together once more.
